Pusateri Funeral Homes Incorporated
has served Wayne County since 1975

In 1975, the Pusateri family settled in Lyons,
New York purchasing the first of three businesses, the Boeheim
Funeral Home. Pusateri funeral services were expanded to other
communities in 1981 and 1982. The Pusateri Funeral Home was
established in Clyde, New York in 1981. The incorporation of
Pusateri Funeral Home was complete upon the purchase of Schultz
Funeral Home in Newark, New York in 1982.

Tom Pusateri, Owner
Tom Pusateri, owner and director, was born in
Lockport, New York. He attended the University of Minnesota
graduating in 1964 with a degree in Anatomy. Then, in 1966,
Mr. Pusateri graduated from Simmons Mortuary School with his
funeral director’s license.
Tom Pusateri resides in the Village of Lyons
and is the father of three children Chris, Erin and Maria.
As a member of the International Order of the
Golden Rule, Tom has provided funeral services to communities
in Wayne County for over twenty-five years. He is a dedicated
figure throughout the area involved in the local Chamber of
Commerce, Rotary, Elks Club and American Legion. Mr. Pusateri
also serves as a lector and Eucharistic minister at St. Michael’s
Church in Lyons. Tom is also a member of the Ontario -Wayne
-Yates Funeral Directors Association as well as the Monroe County
Funeral Directors Association.

John Capozzi, Licensed Funeral Director
John graduated from DeSales High School in Geneva, New York
and attended Simmons Mortuary School in Syracuse, NY with
his degree in mortuary science. He has 18 years of experience
as a licensed funeral director and is currently the Manager
of the Pusateri Funeral Home in Clyde, NY.
John resides in the Town of Phelps and is married to Susan
and has a daughter Samantha.
He is the Past President and current member of the Clyde
Rotary and is also a member of the Ontario -Wayne -Yates Funeral
Directors Association, where he is the current Vice President
of the Association. John is also a member of the Monroe County
Funeral Directors Association.

Terry Safford
Terry Safford is retired from the State of
New York and General Motors. Mr. Safford owned a local tavern
in Newark and currently works part time for a florist. Mr. Safford
resides in Newark where he is a member of St. Michaels Church.
